Wrapped in Sorbet

Wrapped in Sorbet brings a soft sweep of rainbow colors and a hint of a summer breeze. Like a breath of spring, it is accented by strands of gold, copper and silver fiber on handcrafted and handpainted paper.

Art Materials: Handmade and hand painted papers,enhanced with metallic threads and highlighted by iridescence, protected with a unique glazing process

Size: 3" x 2 1/4 - it is one of the largest pieces in this collection but does not look unwieldy on jacket or sweater. I tried it on my camisole just to make sure and it was super because of the light weight.

Colors: multiple soda fountain colors pour forth in bubble gum shades of pink then blues blending into greens, with touches of sandy sunny yellow and multiple highlights.

This piece is currently backed with a safety clasp brooch. I will be glad to adapt it if you wish to have the art piece floated on a special archival mount to fit a 5 by 7 inch frame.
