Not an unusual situation of course, but as I sat in a chair at the Madpea opening I had an unexpected surprise as a dark haired someone with wings and beams emerging from one eye landed in my lap.

I share this as part of my extensive and embarrassing ways with sitting in Second Life. Which seems to boggle me nearly as much as walking used to.

This is part of a series of embarrassing shots, and if any you catch any of my seating goofups, I'm happy to have them to share. Mainly it's funny, but embarrassing less so since it happens to everyone.

My visit to Northern Illinois University was not really ruined by the geeky looking goofup. I swear.

What's not to love about the design, the worksmanship. This is a nice spot to take some very creative, or just SL true, shots.  Theres also a bar / gathering spot nearby. Very picturesque.

The park has plenty of little touches like petals falling from the tree and water that looks like it is really running along, plus spots to sit or just look around.

After meetings from early this morning until late this afternoon, it's easy to just get wrapped up in thea rat-race. Gardens and other spots provided by the citizenry of Second Life help remind us that there's more to life

This one provides a simple peaceful place to just be, and a way to de-stress while remembering those who are afflicted with Breast Cancer and other illnesses that rob them of the ability to enjoy some of the pleasures many of us take for granted.

It's how I'm spending a few minutes, and I wanted to thank Akasha Divisadero & members of the Breast Cancer Awareness Group for this space,
