Link Leaks, Secrets and What "They" Are Saying
I'm leaking links to all kinds of helpful stuff
- Shhh: Podcasts share the Secrets of Second Life
- What are they saying? Why does everybody talk about "rezzing?' Here's the lexicon from San Jose State in case you want to try.
- See what's available for your avatar to wear, fly or put on your land in Second Life without even signing in. You KNOW you're curious.

Thanks for stopping by "nobody" :-) SLX can be a good resource too but I'm not sure that Google is the best resource for new people to learn about Second Life.
The bits in the video format got good responses in the people I talked to - some learn better by reading and getting the lay of the land first. Kind of "here's what to expect" kind of thing. In world on the job training as it were often leaves something to be desired and is only as good as the folks one is talking to.
What do you think about the rest of San Jose State's SL information?

A quick google will dispel secrets, chatting in world will demonstrate that language is flexible (and that chatting is the best way to learn these things in context), and if you want to shop - look around, and even check out SLExchange.com. ;-)
