Grasshoppers Conference
- It happens every Thursday
12 noon ET, 9AM Pacific, 6PM Central Europe
Got that? Same time every week. Noon Easy to remember.
We use an easy - I mean I can do it so you know - thingyjobber called Talkshoe. You have to take a look at where you're going to "meet" right? Hey just go peek at talkshoe.com to see the spot
- The "Listen" or "Join in" links will only appear when the conference is live.
- Past conferences are listed for listening or download. Just look lower on the same page. YES, please listen if you weren't there. We know it will make you want in on the next one!
Of course we hope that you will participate when it's time for the call. Instructions on how to do that follow.
Learn more about our congenial conference host Randy and what he says about the weekly conference
To participate - and I urge you to
- it seems easier if you go through the registration process in
advance. It's not hard but this way you're not pressed for time or
stressing over it.
In short you can get familiar with it at your pace
Step 1: Join Talkshoe ----> Free, Takes a minute. Nice guys we've actually talked to. No they won't spam you.
Please use a name we can recognize (or at least pronounce) for this conference.
Step 2: After you fill out the form, you can create a PIN which is needed to phone in. (your phone number is a good pin to use for a number of reasons)
That's it for that part. You're all done until it's time for the call.
Go on - that's it. Have a lemonade & celebrate or something.
.
Wait! It's time for the Conference! Now's the time to act.
- A few minutes before or anytime during the conference, Phone (724) 444-7444

I used skype to phone in and didn't have a problem at all with it.
- When the number answers, enter 43023# ( Don't forget the # )
That is the Grasshopper conference number and it stays the same every week
- Then you'll be asked to enter Your PIN# again, don't forget the # sign after it
- You should hear "you are now joining the Talkshoe". Just the announcement makes me grin. Get ready.
Ta da!
It does take a few steps but I learned to do it so easily that I was concerned that I wasn't connected! Maybe there are not enough hoops to jump through, I don't know.
Just take it step by step and you can do it
Next time: how to chat online with of the blabbers on the audio.
Here's to ya, grasshoppers!
