Mindbendingly, this backdrop is provided in the SL area called Dirty. Yes, it looks like you are in the desert southwest. But not only is your avatar not there, you're not even in an rea of SL that has this topography. It's flat as a pancake here. Does that make it three degrees removed from reality? Or more?
