Great fun is happening with the Artistamp Workshop this week online.
And participants are telling me that it should be a more regular thing.
That idea is just beginning to gel in my brain but the potential to help more and more of you make wonderful creations is really appealing.
For example the nostalgic and romantic card "Paper Roses" at right which is one of the things illustrated in a "how to" for in this session.
The feedback about the system for getting the downloads of images to participants is great and it looks like the mix of images in this class packet is really working very well.
The participants, have just run with the ideas offered. So you didn't need a sample using every image in the packet? No kidding, right?
And you don't need me to pull out all the stops and pour so much energy into a huge workshop handout packet either. Wow. This means that we can do this a lot more often.
So with this positive experience in mind how about this as a next
step . . . . This summer even moms get to go to camp.- or at least YOU
will because you can attend Ephemeria's virtual "Artistamp Camp."
The fun is just beginning because when you attend Artistamp Camp . . .
- You'll get to download a supply packet of images - both new artistanps and collage clips designed to work with the artistamps
- The counsellors will not make you dive into a frigid lake
- You'll get to see a number of design ideas of how the images can be
used in Greeting cards, Note cards, ATCs, Bookmarks, Tags, Chubby book
pages, or other projects that you can make using the images - maybe
something like the cool Summer Dream tag shown here.
- You'll have a private online spot to get feedback, your questions answered etc,
- You can chose the time of day you stop by our virtual "campsite" and come back as often as you like for a whole week. No meetings or events to fit into your schedule!
- You'll get a forum for doing "show and tell" of what you come up with in the days following "camp"
- Swaps? Group projects? You want it; ask for it and we'll do it.
- You can bring your friend and get a special "thank you" gift
- And we promise the things you have to show for the experience won't include poison ivy.
