What Ten Firefox Tabs Do You Have Open?
Rob Wood from the Jamdo blog wonders if You are an Internet Time Waster? He admits:
I am an internet addict. It’s just the way I am. I would plug my head straight into broadband if the technology was available!
..... In fact I use Firefox and usually have at least 10 tabs open at any one time.
At least 5 of them will be sports, forums or games - ie. nothing that is immediately productive in a professional sense. Sometimes I’ll also throw in a computer game or two just for fun
This whole line of discussion has me shaking my head in agreement. Not the games part - except for days when I allow myself to play the Babble puzzle.
And the ten open tabs? Oh YES!
What did we do before Firefox? I mean Tabs are like Brilliant!
So right now what do you have open? Are there really ten?
Me?
- "My Yahoo" where I get updated feeds from the blogs I follow
- Liz Strauss at Successful-Blog about the big buzz on Net Neutrality
- and Copyblogger on the same important issue (Reminder to self: you need to do something on this topic too)
- the Museum of Paper Arts blog - I guess I'm waiting to see if one of my Guest Authors writes something!
- the new Artistamp What and Why? Blog. I've put a film Loop on it as well as a photo montage & I'm watching for interaction / glitches
- Typepad, since I'm writing this
- Zazzle - I'm deciding what image to add to my card selection
- Amazon - You never know when you need to put a new resource on the blog
- my private blog where the Artistamp Workshops and Artistamp Camp etc are held - I'm trying out a new blog chat program in it called "talk amongst yourselves" so I'm watching for questions
- and my trusty link to the Blog to Book in 90 days Project
Oh yes - I'm in the tab teens without even trying.

LOL - great idea.
Actually I don't feel so guilty now cos most is something to do with work(ish)
1)Google Adwords
2)This blog
2)My own blog - Jamdo
4)A travel forum
5)MyYahoo!
6)My local paper: smh.com.au
7)Sitepoint - sitepoint.com/forums
8)The Irrawaddy Times - great little IndyMedia company based in Thailand - if you're into politics and stuff.http://www.irrawaddy.org/
9)Back to Iraq - great little blog from a journo over there http://www.back-to-iraq.com/
Ok, so on second view, a lot are more "interest" than actual work, but I am improving!
