Beside Myself; A Fun Challenge for You

I'm "Beside Myself" with curiosity. What's around you?
I think as an artist that things around me affect me and what I do and even how I feel on a daily basis.
And I'm wondering if you think that the things you have around you affect what you do?
Do the things you have around you affect what you think or feel?
Are the things around you just a product of accident or happenstance; things that you randomly set down?
Or are the things you surround yourself with part of a well ordered life?
What do these things say about you, your interests, your personality?
Take part in the "Beside Myself" challenge today!
"Show and Tell" what's beside YOU; what you see when you look at your side of the bed, desk drawer, or beside your favorite chair. Take a photo of the spot or write about it.
Tell us if you're an artist or a writer or some other creative person. Do you think what your talents or vocations are - or are not - are influenced by things in your surroundings?
Click on the photo for an enlarged view and tell me what you think my bedside says about me. And what are the clues you used to reach those conclusions.

Susan, what a wonderful and gentle challenge! My readers are in the midst of an intense 5 day office makeover and I am so happy to be able to interject this meditation, if you will, into their very "mental" process.
I love the idea that how we arrange our environment speaks volumes about how we treat and feel about ourselves!
best to you!
