Semper Fi & a Feel Good Gift that Dresses up Nicely

While you won't normally find the exact same announcement appearing both here & on the Museum of Paper Blog, this is one of those exceptions that only happens when something really special is afoot.

We're joining our registry service GoDaddy.com in wishing a Happy 230th Birthday to the United States Marine Corps! GoDaddy has done quite the jazzy video salute - very cool.

My part in the Semper Fi Fiesta is preparing a new artistamp release  Gift prepared especially for readers of the Blog

• Issue 142.05 isn't fancy - but like the Marines it does the job.
• And also like the Marines it dresses up nicely!

The top half of the sheet you'll download below is a double strip of stamps.

The bottom half of the sheet shows a suggestion for use of this stamp and provides a sample.

• Print it on card-stock for an easy basic book mark or a jumping off point to start your creative juices.
• Rubber stamp it, emboss it, add ribbons, charms or whatever you can think up.
